@aerc: update to 0.22.0
# Added
- `:reload` is now invoked when `SIGHUP` is received by the `aerc`
process.
- Add support for Labels when using imap.
- A custom directory can now be specified for temporary files.
- New `:toggle-sidebar` command to hide/show the sidebar.
- New `[viewer].html-inline-images` option to replace `
` tags in `text/html` parts with their related
`image/*` part data encoded in base64. For this to work with sixel
compatible terminals, you need to update your filters with
`text/html = ! html -sixel` and install `img2sixel`.
- Diffstat summary lines before patches are now highlighted similar
to git diff --stat.
- Trailing whitespace in diff addition, deletion and context lines
are now highlighted with a red background by default, similar to
git's `diff.wsErrorHighlight` option set to `all`. Configurable
with `[viewer].diff_whitespace` styleset option.
- The editor and the message viewer can now be centered on screen
using a fixed width.
- New styleset objects available to customize special headers in the
message viewer.
- `:menu` commands within a message view can be supplied with the
links extracted from the message using the `-l` flag.
- New `:repeat` command.
- `:toggle-folder` command to toggle directory tree expand/collapse
state.
- Added `-u` and `-U` to the mark command to mark messages based on
read-status.
- In addition of ``, `` now validates completion choices
- Add `folder-map` support for the notmuch backend.
- Show a keyhint popup with available keybinding continuations when
a multi-key binding prefix is pressed.
- New `[general].inherit-host-tty-features` config option enabling
advanced keyboard protocol negotiation, hyperlink support (OSC 8),
clipboard integration (OSC 52), inline image display, and color
queries (OSC 10/11) for embedded terminal child processes.
- Added `-l` switch to `reply` for replying to a mailing list
address.
# Fixed
- Fixed occasional data loss in export result of `export-mbox`.
- Crash when switching accounts quickly after sending a reply with
archive-on-reply enabled.
- Quick terminal outputs (e.g. from pipe command) will no longer
disappear on a mouse event. They will only disappear on a keypress
as described in the status bar.
- `carddav-query` now correctly parses vCard contacts with folded
lines and parameterized properties.
- Mouse works again in the message viewer when the switcher is not
shown.
- Fixed sorting flagged and read messages to the top for JMAP.
- When centered-layout-width is on and the window is too small, the
msgviewer, the composer and the reviewer are now properly shown.
- Fix missing body in the editor when using `:recall`.
- Crash when threading maildir messages with references that create
empty dummy containers in the root set.
# Changed
- Temporary files for messages being composed now reside in the
system's proper state home directory.
- `:flag` and `:delete` on multiple messages now stop on the first
error on `notmuch` accounts.
- The notmuch maildir-store option has been replaced by
enable-maildir (default: true). The maildir root is always obtained
from the notmuch database configuration.
- The notmuch source URL no longer accepts an explicit database path
or config query parameter. Database and configuration are now
discovered automatically. An optional profile name can be specified
as the URL hostname.
- Bundled stylesets now highlight diff whitespace.
# Deprecated
- The notmuch maildir-store option and explicit database paths in the
source URL now emit deprecation warnings.
- The `[general].enable-osc8` config option has been superseded by
`[general].inherit-host-tty-features`.

@Revbump all Go packages after go124 update
I realize I forgot to do the revbump after updating the default Go
version to 1.24, so let's do that now.

log
@aerc: update to 0.20.1
Added:
- `copy-to now` supports multiple destination folders.
- All commands that involve composing messages (`:compose`,
`:reply`, `:recall`, `:unsubscribe` and `:forward`) now have
a new `-s` flag to skip opening the text editor and go directly
to the review screen.
Fixed:
- `copy-to-replied` now properly works without having `copy-to`
also
set.
- `copy-to-replied` creates empty messages when `copy-to` is also
set.
- The address-book completion popovers now again appear under the
field being completed.
- The new-message bell is now rung again for threaded directories
as well.
- `:sign` and `:encrypt` descriptions overflow the review screen.
- Some messages are hidden when using client side threading.
Changed:
- The `default` styleset status line background has been reset to
the default color in order to make error, warning or success
messages more readable.
- Key bindings in the compose review screen are now displayed in
the order in which they are defined in the `[compose::review]`
section of `binds.conf`.
- It is now possible to explicitly hide key bindings from the
compose review screen by using a special ` # -` annotation.

log
@aerc: update to 0.19.0
Important Upstream Updates:
- Drop support for go 1.20 and older
- The location of the command history file has changed to
`${XDG_STATE_HOME:-$HOME/.local/state}/aerc/history`.
- The `html` filter is now enabled by default, making `w3m` a weak runtime
dependency. If it is not installed, viewing HTML emails will fail with an
explicit error.
Other Updates:
- New `:redraw` command to force a repaint of the screen.
- New `head` and `tail` templates functions for strings.
- New `{{.AccountFrom}}` template variable.
- Replying to all will include the Sender in Cc.
- Reply to addresses in `From` and `Reply-To` headers with `:reply -f`.
- Builtin `calendar` filter shows empty attendee list.
- Terminal-based pinentry programs (e.g. `pinentry-curses`) now work properly.
- Notmuch searches which explicitly contain tags from `exclude-tags` now return
messages.
- Invitations now honor the `:send -a` flag.
- Remove unwanted less than symbol from In-Reply-To header when Message-ID uses
folding.
- Aliases are now taken into account correctly when replying to own messages
such as from the Sent folder or via a mailing list.
- Some SMTP servers do not strip `Bcc` headers. aerc now removes them before
sending emails to avoid leaking private information.
- GPG signatures and encrypted parts now use CRLF line endings as required by
RFC 5322.
- Template function `quote` only prefixes with a space if at quote depth `1`.
- Path completion now uses the normal filtering mechanism, respecting case
sensitivity and the fuzzy completion option.

@mail/aerc: import aerc-0.16.0
Packaged for wip by Kevin Bloom and myself.
aerc is an email client that runs in your terminal. It's highly
efficient and extensible, perfect for the discerning hacker. Check
out the screencast above to get an idea of how it's used.
Some of its more interesting features include:
- Editing emails in an embedded terminal tmux-style, allowing you
to check on incoming emails and reference other threads while you
compose your replies
- Render HTML emails with an interactive terminal web browser,
highlight patches with diffs, and browse with an embedded less
session
- First-class support for working with git & email
- Open a new tab with a terminal emulator and a shell running for
easy access to nearby git repos for parallel work
- Support for multiple accounts, with IMAP, Maildir, Notmuch, Mbox
and JMAP backends.
- Asynchronous IMAP and JMAP support ensures
- Efficient network usage
- Email threading (with and/or without IMAP server support).
- PGP signing, encryption and verification using GNUpg.
